I just don't understand what that means when he's doing an entire mixtape with Mega, but thats on him. I guess Ky was right about that one, and it was pretty much forecasted that he would pull something like this by everyone around me, I just wouldnt believe it. Gov put the idea in our heads that we could take over as a trio, but no one but Ky put into account our personalities, especially J's. Ky told me before hand it wouldnt be a wise decision, but me being the friend that I am, wants to put J in the mix and see what happens... No diss to J but after we acquired him as apart of the official group things really slowed down, noticably... but its all water under the bridge now, thats my dude and I love him for who he is...

On to other business... tomorrow me and Ky are auditioning a guitarist named Josh, and if all goes well we'll be looking to form our band around him, and since matters I can't discuss left me without a drummer, we're looking for drummers as well, if you know any hit my jack up.. lol.

We start recording our mixtape tomorrow, "In my head" will be the first track to kick off the mixtape thats pretty much complete to Ky, we're just starting the recording process... I'll be all over twitter and mi casa(here lol), updating how things are going...

A recurring term that he brings up is the universe, and its powers. He and I are both students of the universe, trying to obtain knowledge from every living being, thing and idea. but i've never thought of the idea that the universe can get in your way... very interesting. in a sense when you feel your back is against the wall it is like your fighting against all opposition, or the powers that be(the universe), but instead of REacting to all the opposing forces against you, you instead CHOOSE to ACT first.. Which presents the idea of CHOOSING your destiny... very interesting. The simple idealogy of choosing one's destiny, can simply be categorized as unrealistic or unrealistic thinking.. but what exactly is unrealistic thinking?? believing that you can accomplish the goal you set out for yourself from childhood, is that unrealistic?? is believing that you can achieve the life your heroes live unrealistic?? or is that setting boundaries for yourself, thus making you, by the universe's standards, realistic or normal??

Although Im just happy with people listening and enjoying my music, because once everybody feels your music, then material success falls in line with that, if you're smart about things, and aware that this is a business. It shouldn't be but it is, and honestly who wants to be known as the most musically talented homeless guy? Money isn't everything, but it is a necessity for survival.

The villainous and lecherous Judge Turpin wanted Lucy for himself and had Barker arrested on false charges and transported for life to Australia. The play begins 15 years later, when the barber has returned to London, completely transformed by his experiences: “That man is dead. It’s Todd now. Sweeney Todd.” Mrs. Lovett, a widow, owns the spectacularly unsuccessful meat pie shop below Todd’s old home. Mrs. Lovett recognises her former neighbour and tells Todd that Lucy poisoned herself after Turpin raped her, and that Turpin adopted baby Johanna as his ward. By the time Todd returns to London, Johanna has become a young woman and falls in love with a sailor, Anthony, with whom she plans to elope.

In the Sondheim musical, Mrs. Lovett takes in an orphan boy, Tobias Ragg, after Sweeney kills Toby's previous master, Adolfo Pirelli, a former assistant of Todd who tries to blackmail Todd by revealing his true identity (it was a capital crime for a "lifer" to return to England). After Turpin escapes his grasp, Todd swears revenge upon the entire world, resolving to kill as many people as he can; Mrs. Lovett then suggests they turn his victims' remains into pies. Mrs. Lovett's pie shop becomes incredibly successful.

In the musical's climactic scene, Todd finally kills Judge Turpin, as well as a deranged and purportedly old beggar woman — who turns out to be none other than Lucy, Todd's long-lost wife. When Mrs. Lovett confesses that she didn't tell him Lucy was still alive because she loves him, he throws her into the roaring bake oven. As Todd grieves over his wife's body, Toby, enraged after discovering the secret of the meat pies and Sweeney's murder of Mrs. Lovett (whom he loved like a mother), sneaks up behind him and slashes Todd's throat with Todd's own razor. Todd dies with his wife's body in his arms.

Jimmy Neutron of music.

Its few rare times in hip hop performances that actually make me wanna cry, simply off of the raw energy of the performer and their music. Kanye did that for me tonight. He was on Vh1 Storytellers straight blackin. Other than "Fade to Black", it was one of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed. It captured me, inspired me, and enlightened me, and obviously most artists aren't even talented enough to hold my attention.

This post was actually 4 days in the making.......

I went from every high or low you could possibly think of, went from finally recording(big ups to Kysean, J-Spit, & V.C. we gonna have to do more tracks together), to fights with my girl because of lies, to contemplating murder and suicide, to just letting go, and learning to forgive.

Rollercoaster rite!?

I spent the last day or so just bouncing around place to place, completely unable to focus on just one thing, I could sit there and just zone and be in another world. Somedays I wish I could stay in zone, and never come back to reality, and that makes coming back to reality that much more painful.

"Time is Limitless" represents me in zone. When I zone, the world is dark, and the people cant speak words, when they open their mouth to talk to you, you hear music instead, everything thats supposed to make a sound doesnt, it all just plays music.
In zone, everything is elongated, and time is suspended, like you can spend years in one room, and the song you've been listenin hasnt ended yet.

Its like being in space, but at a totally different level.

Burying the hatchet.

So I've spent the last couple of days rekindling the relationship with a couple of good friends of mine. We spent last nite playin Rock Band and smokin cherry tobacco out their Hookah(it was the shit!). When I think about it, one year ago today, neither of us would ever think of a fall out between us, and thats the crazy part! When you sit back and think about, how did it happen, what took us that deep under.... its the past now, so whatever.

I took the time out to go to the sentencing of one of my bestfriends, I thought it would be ok. Then the brought him out in his orange jumpsuit, shackled. What was worse was, I could see the defeat in his face. I could see the hope being stripped away from him, and all I could do is helplessly watch, and that was some hard shit to witness. He got off easy in Mecosta County, where he was being held, and now their movin him to Kent County, where he faces even more charges.............

All I can do is pray.

So.....

Big ups to Kysean, and Brandy, hopefully now we can stay in eachother's lives positively.

As a musician, I tend to go in detail when listenin to, and evaluating beats. Its some beats I can actually listen to hours on end, and some that just piss me off when they come on....................

Alot of so called "producers", just take sounds and put em together on some fruity loops shit, and they beats lack instrumentation.

MC's fell off for a min, but why do producers gotta get lazy??

Then I ask myself........

Are producers inspired by the greats of their craft, just like we as MC's are inspired by ours??

It seems as tho some toy around wit fruity loops make a sub-par beat for a local rapper and all of a sudden they got talent......

Thoughts people?? Honestly I dont believe its a big of deal as the media(Sly Fox) is making it out to be! For them to believe that Jay was making "racist" comments, is bullshit, his statements mighta been the slightest ignorant, but "racist"???

Jeezy's comments were a tad bit more ignorant(hilarious to say the least), but why does JEEZY'S comments reflect Jay or Mr. President??

Now Sly Fox has him saying "No more white lies/My president is black" but if you watch the video without the Fox's editing, you also hear Jay say "If you gotta racist mind its alright", speaking on all the people who were on the news saying that they didnt want a black president. Many of which were democrats, who said, "they're voting for Hilary but if Obama wins the Democratic candidacy they'll vote for the other guy, and go Republican."

Fox is trying to perpetuate a false sense of reverse-racism(which is just plain racism to me, but they insisted on putting a title on it!). They keep throwing out MLK's name like he wouldn't be celebrating right along with us, as if he would spin in his grave at the idea of a black president.

Anybody agree with that??

Now I dont say Jay is 100% innocent either. He is highly regarded in the Hip Hop community, and coporate world, I dont think it was right for him to be out with the young, up & coming crowd making such statements, putting himself in a position for such a RACIST attack on his character by Sly Fox. But..................
