Beat Freak................

As a musician, I tend to go in detail when listenin to, and evaluating beats. Its some beats I can actually listen to hours on end, and some that just piss me off when they come on....................

Alot of so called "producers", just take sounds and put em together on some fruity loops shit, and they beats lack instrumentation.

MC's fell off for a min, but why do producers gotta get lazy??

Then I ask myself........

Are producers inspired by the greats of their craft, just like we as MC's are inspired by ours??

It seems as tho some toy around wit fruity loops make a sub-par beat for a local rapper and all of a sudden they got talent......

Does it really work like that??

If that's the case then J Dilla was a fluke rite??

If it was that easy, then rappers could just make their own beats rite??

No?

Then where is the hardwork?? The craftsmanship?? The dedication??

Its more than a million rappers in the world, just as many producers, its already slim pickings for the nice MC's, even less producers wit real talent and work ethic.......

Guess I gotta wait and see what the future of Hip Hop holds......
Hopefully a brighter tomorrow.....
