I know im supposed to be focused on finishin up my verses on "Move On" and "Overdose on life" but I been readin Abreviated Dreams/Extended Nightmares, and the more and more Chazz(Haha thats funny!!! I gotta good girl, a damn good girl, and she deserves more from me. More time, more affection, more everything I can possibly give her. She loves me more than anything, and when I look at her, I can tell. I can honestly see all the love she has for me when I look in her eyes. She's all you could possibly want in a girl. She loves me for me, she supports me no matter what, she's my biggest fan, she's independent with her own money, and the only thing she wants in return is for me to love her back, and achieve my goals......Thats wifey material.

I been lettin' her down lately though. She won't tell me that, but I can tell. I know its only because she wants me to do better, but all Im focused on is school and music. As a musician, I tend to go in detail when listenin to, and evaluating beats. Its some beats I can actually listen to hours on end, and some that just piss me off when they come on....................

Alot of so called "producers", just take sounds and put em together on some fruity loops shit, and they beats lack instrumentation.

MC's fell off for a min, but why do producers gotta get lazy??

Then I ask myself........

Are producers inspired by the greats of their craft, just like we as MC's are inspired by ours??

It seems as tho some toy around wit fruity loops make a sub-par beat for a local rapper and all of a sudden they got talent......

Does it really work like that??

If that's the case then J Dilla was a fluke rite??

If it was that easy, then rappers could just make their own beats rite??

Then where is the hardwork?? The craftsmanship?? The dedication??

HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2 DAYS AGO!!!

I kno Im late but fuck it.

Ok so its 2009, its officially "go time" for me. I didnt do much for new years. My dude Pj had a party at his house so i hit that up. Got a little wasted, but not too trashed lol.(thats a dope metaphor! LMAO.) Still cant figure out how to put up a template, and im still writin to this beat.(can you say, "MULTI-TASKING"!) Hopefully i get in the studio soon, and finally get sum recording done.

I was at my desk, and i happened to stumble across a song, "Supernatural Vacation" by Charles Hamilton, and that song did sumthin to me, no song has done in the past 3 years.......... it inspired me. @ the end of the song, he said, "when nas said, 'the world is yours', i believed him..." jus that quote alone, set sumthin off in me. I realize now(like rite now as im typin this lol.) that i have a god given gift, im blessed to be able to do what i do, and i cant take it for granted, not for one second that i am able to use my voice, should i waste it. Because of this gift that i am blessed with, i am also blessed with the opportunity to inspire others. I remember now, why i started doin this rap shit in the first place. I remember tellin people that, if there was no music, i would kill myself. I still stand behind that, 100%. Because its all I have, its who I am.

I think that about does it for now........................I gotta get busy finishin up these songs... =]
